Hey Everyone!
I cannot believe that I get to hear from all of you wonderful people. It seems as tho it has been ages since we've connected with some of you but this is such a treat. Like a little bit of heaven. I need your email addresses! How do you share those over the blog world? Anyway, sorry it's been so long since I posted....these last few weeks have been busy and I keep forgetting to take out the camera and take pictures. Promising things to come tho...school is out next week and June is full of birthdays around our house. More to come!

Help!
I can't tell you how many smiles I am smiling as I hear from all of you! I love that we can all stay connected even tho we are far away! It's a little bit of heaven for me.
Ok, so I can't seem to figure out how to add all of your blogs onto the my link page element!!!! I can type in your direct address but I don't know how to write the name like John and Betsey's blog and have it link to the address. Can anyone help me out? :)
Thanks!

Luke turns 13! Ok, so his birthday was in April but I wasn't bloggin yet. Are retroactive blogs allowed? :)
At Luke's birthday we invited staff and elders over to pray for him in celebration of his turning 13. We asked that they pray for his faith and his future as a spiritual leader. It was a sweet time. Good buddy Johnny Provost is in the picture at the bottom right hand side. Not sure why Jacob is closing his eyes, maybe he was still praying.
Luke was gifted the often requested Beef Jerky from Liv and Emma.
This kid lives and breaths USC stats...that's for you Dad and Uncle Jona. (He had a weird bump on his head when we took this...)
Luke at Lake Chelan last year.
LOVE this kid! We feel so blessed to call him our son.

Wedding/Anniversary weekend in the Northwest
We love this city!
John and new nephew Micah Dirkse
My crazy hat that John picked out for me. I LOVE it.
Here I am with the love of my life. Can anyone say Mr. GQ?
Dirkse siblings: John, Jenni, Julie, and Jason
Driving over Stephen's pass was breathtaking. Here is a shot of Mt. Index that I got on the way.
Of course we had to see the original Starbucks...
So, John and I just got back from the Northwest. We went to Washington to be part of John's little sister's wedding. Julie got married in Leavenworth and John got to officiate which was an honor. It also happened to be the same week as our 15th wedding anniversary so we celebrated by heading West together. We had an absolute blast in Seattle. Walking up and down the market was one of our highlights. The fresh flowers were unbelievable! I even took home a little Seattle in the form of a hat made by a local artist. Love that! Julie's and David's wedding was beautiful and it was a fun time to reconnect with the family.
